How to Care for Your Sculpture

Cleaning

The Sculpture

Use a dry, soft-bristle paintbrush to gently remove dust from the surface of the sculpture. If dust remains in hard-to-reach areas, use compressed air or a handheld air blower held approximately 6–10 inches away to lightly blow the dust from the surface.

The Base

Use a lint-free cloth to gently wipe dust from the wood base, taking care around any sculptural elements that extend beyond the base. If additional cleaning is needed, lightly spray a small amount of a gentle wood-safe cleaner onto the cloth (never directly onto the base) before wiping.

Handling

Handle the sculpture with care. Some delicate elements, such as leaves, flowers, and mushrooms, may extend beyond the edges of the wooden base and are fragile. When lifting or moving the sculpture, always grasp the wooden base rather than the ceramic elements.

Travel & Shipping

To ensure safe transport, always travel with your sculpture in its custom storage box. If you no longer have the original box, please don't hesitate to reach out. No matter how much time has passed since your purchase, I am happy to make a replacement custom box or provide guidance on how to safely package your sculpture.

If shipping the sculpture, always use a double-boxed packing method. Place the custom box inside a larger outer box with 2½–3 inches of cushioning material (such as bubble wrap or packing peanuts) on all sides between the two boxes.
